| Anthropology Club Vision: The Anthropology Club, formerly known as the Anthropological and Archaeological Society, is dedicated to student involvement in the four sub-fields: cultural and biological anthropology, archaeology, and anthropological linguistics. The goals of the club are anthropological education, public awareness, and the preservation of cultural resources. The club fosters anthropological curiosity, cross-cultural understanding, systematic and ethical research, and career planning. Membership: Membership is open to all students. Club Activities:
Sociology Club Vision: The UL Lafayette Sociology Club is a campus organization dedicated to the purpose of unifying students wishing to pursue an interest in scientific study of society through meetings, lectures, and field trips. The aims of the organization are to provide support for students interested in the field of sociology and encourage greater public awareness of and appreciation for the sociological perspective. Membership: Membership shall be open to full-time and part-time students and graduate students of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette . Membership dues shall be paid in the amount of $10.00 per academic year or $6.00 per academic semester. Club Meetings: Club meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Meeting time and place are usually posted in advance. Club Activities:
Student Louisiana Early Childhood Association (SLAECA) Vision: SLAECA is the campus affiliate of the Louisiana Early Childhood Association and the Southern Early Childhood Association. Members design and carry out service projects to assist community-based child/family agencies. The organization also enhances professional development of its individual club members through attendance at local, state and regional professional early childhood conferences. Membership: Membership is open to all students. Membership in the campus chapter includes state and regional professional association memberships. Annual dues (calendar year) are $25.00.
