Sociology Critical Courses

There are 10 hours of critical courses required for sociology majors.

• SOCI 301 Synthesizing within Sociology (3 hours)
• SOCI 308 Social Research (3 hours)
• SOCI 309 Social Research Laboratory (1 hour)
• SOCI 411 Sociological Theory (3 hours)

• *Grade of "C" or better required for each course listed above.

In addition, sociology majors must complete:

• 18 credit hours of SOCI courses with at least 6 credit hours at the 400-level
• *Grade of "C" or better required for all sociology courses.
