Sociology Club

The UL Lafayette Sociology Club is a campus organization dedicated to the purpose of unifying students wishing to pursue an interest in scientific study of society through meetings, lectures, and field trips. The aims of the organization are to provide support for students interested in the field of sociology and encourage greater public awareness of and appreciation for the sociological perspective.

Membership

Membership shall be open to full-time and part-time students and graduate students of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Membership dues shall be paid in the amount of $10.00 per academic year or $6.00 per academic semester.

Club Meetings

Club meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Meeting time and place are usually posted in advance.

Officers

The Club shall have three principal officers and one faculty advisor. Officers are nominated and elected each Spring.
